If you have a skin problem and you don’t know what it is, what’s causing it or what you should do about it, we’re here to help.
Send us photos and your health information and our team of experienced GPs will assess your condition.
In many cases, we’ll then be able to make a diagnosis. However, sometimes further tests might be needed, so a firm diagnosis is not always possible.
Even if we can’t make a diagnosis, we’ll give you advice about your condition and what you should do next.
If we’re able to offer prescription treatment for your condition through one of our online services, we’ll direct you to complete another quick online questionnaire. There will be an additional charge if medicine is prescribed.
Alternatively, we may direct you to a pharmacist for over the counter treatment. In some cases, we might advise you to see your GP for treatment, or for specialist referral.

Which skin conditions can we diagnose?
We’ll provide an assessment and offer advice on next steps for every skin condition and, in most cases, provide a diagnosis. We may also be able to offer prescription treatment for your condition. This would require completing a second online questionnaire and there will be a separate charge for the medicine if prescribed.
We can diagnose a variety of common skin conditions. These include:
- inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, acne, rosacea, and peri-oral dermatitis
- infectious skin conditions such as shingles, cold sores, impetigo, ringworm, molluscum contagiosum, and yeast infections such as pityriasis versicolour
- skin conditions caused by sexually transmitted infections
- other skin conditions that affect the genital skin, including genital warts, Fordyce spots and molluscum contagiosum
Please note that we do not offer online diagnosis of moles. Moles are more safely assessed in person, or via specialised services. Find out more about mole scanning.
